<< h, Chere Workman. She joined the Houston Club about 6 months after I did.
When
they talked me into doing the newsletter, I told them I knew how to do a
newsletter, but was computer illiterate. Chere offered to help me. It only
took
one issue to find out that she didn't know how to get on Onofrio or how to
e-mail
me anything she got from another source. She sent me several pages, by snail
mail, xeroxed from a book one time, about head conformation. I can't re-print
something from someone's book verbatim!! We'd get sued for copywrite
 infringement!! >>
Dummy !!At least I tried to help and the article I copied I wrote and asked
for permission if we were to use and it referred to color inheritance modes
which I found interesting that appeared in the Toy magazine. It was one of
the most concise and clear I ever read with photos. I thought it was written
by Meredith and emailed her. It turned out to be written by someone else.
.You must have looked at the wrong side of the page. You know you can ask for
permission to reprint and many people would be amicable to educate other
Cavalier owners on "type" in the breed. I certainly do know how to get on
Onofrio and sent you the http address. The problem was getting it into a
printable format on your word program as I was used to using Microsoft Office
Publisher a much more sophisticated program you did not have. You could not
take files with a specific suffix. This is probably why it is difficult to get
people to help in volunteer jobs (not is it only thankless but you are
berated for your attempts). I also recently typed and formatted the Houston
Kennel Club breeders list for the catalogue for the Astrodome Show to help
another Cavalier breeder.Ignorant as I am. But all in all the question posed
by me was not as to my character or computer abilities but about a potential
buyer for a puppy that I am having a hard time emotionally giving up, which
again you have not been able to comprehend. Furthermore I think you are now
doing a fabulous job with the newsletter and I wait for it each month. You
have made fabulous strides in making it a lovely publication and learning
how to work your new computer. I have always been very proud of your rescue
efforts and find you a person who gives unselfishly. You just need to learn
to think before you write, make sure you are correct in what you write and
not hurt another person through ignorance and you would be darn near perfect.
Is this a continuation of the weird list reads of this week. Now I am in the
soap for poor computer skills. How does this relate to anything? Wave some
Wolfbane around>
