Ok what meal is complete without good old jello salad. Here are two of my
hubby's favorites.

Jello Delight

2 pks jello (or one of the big ones. I like strawberry banana)
1 can crushed pinapple
2 large bananas
1 cup mini marshmellows

Topping
juice from canned pinapple
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
2 Tabs flour
1 Tabs Butter
1 pkg of Dream Whip

Prepare Jello per directions on box. (if you use fruit cocktail I like to use
the juice instead of just cold water it give a lot of flavor to the jello add
pinapple, banana and mini marshmellows. Refrigerate

Cook over low heat until thick juice, sugar, egg, flour and butter. ( works
best if you whisk in egg and flour while juice is still cold. If you do whisk
in egg you could have little white lumps of cooked eggs....(yuck) Let this cool

Prepare one pkg of Dream Whip. When cooked mixture has cooled blend into dream
whip.

My husband always says the topping is so good to bad you have to eat all that
jello just to have the topping. So this year I am preparing a big bowl of fresh
fruit. Bananas, strawberries, blue berries raspberries and kiwis and then I
will put the topping on the fruit but it may be a little to thick so I will use
two pakg of dream whip.

The other jello recipe that he likes the best is simply...

Stawberry/banana jello perpared in large bowl.

After the jello has set
Whip really whipping cream with 1 cup of sugar add this to the jello beat in
pecans and crushed pinapple.

Yep you got it right you stick the beaters in the formed jello and whip it up
with the stiff whipped cream. It doesn't look real pretty but it is very nice.

Enjoy
Cathy
