You know, it could be passed similar to the blenheim spot and be a tri particular marking pattern in Cavaliers just the same way. We've had blenheims that put head spots on all their blenheim babies and ones that were hit and miss in the blenheim spot department.
I certainly wouldn't say that Basil was the only one to stamp his markings, but it was very distinctive in my lines as this particular marking pattern is on every tri of mine that goes back to this cross-- looks like cookie cutouts.
