Susan... Yes some CKCS are very strong for certain traits that you see other CKCS occasionally produce. I have a Basil's son...so I know those markings well!!! I also have Two Tartan's grandchildren...I do not see that same markings coming consistently down from Tartan. Both Basil and Tartan were outstanding Dirk's sons earning ROMs. Ch. Salador Celtic Dirk was a true asset to conformation and type in the USA!!! Putting politics aside!!!

We know the bitches behind a prepotentic stud are strong reinforcer for certain traits good or bad... maybe that Kindrum/Salador combination may have been the key reinforcer of this marking trait???
