According to Cornell University's Dog Watch newsletter, the average life
span  for all purebred dogs is 10 years of age. I would say anything over
ten is a blessing. I believe if more breeders use the suggested protocol
then we can not only push the age of MVD onset later in life but extend
their life. Just my humble opinion.
