If you read the CKCSC statistics of the deceased dogs, from the registration
numbers you can estimate the age of death.  Plus in the Health Registry there
is a list of dogs who died at 12 yrs or over.   Over the years, one sees an
inordinate number of Cavaliers die at 9 and 10 yrs of age.  Some live longer
and some die younger.  However, it is not unusual for a Cavalier to die at 9
and 10 yrs of age.  Way too young in my opinion but that's the way it is.
