That's why I mentioned Dalmatians. Hasn't it been found that the whole breed
has the genetic problem with uric acid? Some are asymptomatic, but still
homozygotes for the trait. There was some controversy about it several years
ago. I think Joanne Nash knows all about it, at least that is where my
information comes from--- her website.
