It may be about time for another recipe here, Cathy. We have some very nice dogs....a nice Peakdowns boy, and a lovely little dog from Molly Coaker. However, they are both going to be finished by a pro handler. Why, you ask??? Because Pat and I both hate handling. We start arguing as soon as we start grooming for the shows, we argue on the way to the show, we usually aren't speaking by the time the show arrives, and we sulk all the way home, no matter how the dogs do. What we like to do is take the dogs to the handler in time for them to get them groomed, sit ring side with a coke in hand, leisurely reading the catalogue and chatting. We like to watch like proud parents while our dogs strut around the ring looking great. Can we include people who use a handler to avoid a divorce? or a screaming match at the show?
