Hi,

I have noticed many different patterns in how the red darkens in Blenheims
and saw something new recently in a puppy that is an outcross to a
completely different line. The red patchs on this Blenheim look like it is
streaked with white. This is not a pure white, but the red is light and has
a marbled effect. The puppy is only three weeks old and the red was very
light at birth. I'm used to dark red on Blenheim newborns so this was very
different. Does anyone have experience with a red that is like this in
newborns? Does it darken properly as the pup grows?

All the best,
Susan Cochran
