The way that his red in darkening is just as everyone has said. He is getting darker on the head first and it is slowly moving down. Since his granddad was a very rich Blenheim as an adult (the only time I saw him), this leads me to believe that his pattern will follow the pattern that others have mentioned and darken to the correct rich red by the time he's grown. His ears are nice and dark. Here's a link to a couple of photos that I just took this morning.
