Hi Susan,
Cavalier bites can and do change - so much sot hat people with other breeds
are sometimes astounded by what can happen. Generally speaking, a dog with
a less than perfect bite can have different problems - it may be edge to
edge, slightly undershot referred to as reverse scissor, or there may be one
or more teeth out of line right through to dogs which are badly undershot.
Dogs may win to a certain level say in the breed with a less than perfect
mouth but it gets difficult to win with them at group level - much will
depend on the individual judge. Some are flexible and others very strict in
their requirements. And I'm talking about both breed specialists and
general all breed judges.
