Judy...

Bravo to John Gammon as an executive board member of the ACKCSC for being an
excellent role model, as you reported !!! Let us all stand in support of
this beautiful traditions of this breed. The key word is to "stand" for
your beliefs, even if you look foolish to those not informed!!!

To the "others" who have been discussed, I choose to give the benefit of the
doubt at this point. ..but given time we must all be accountable for our
specific actions as observed.

Education and integrity will help preserve this beloved breed!!! We must ALL
learn, embrace, and defend this breed.

Breeders do not sell dogs as show prospect that they would not be proud to
have at the end of their leads. Exhibitors have your dogs evaluated for its
strengths and weaknesses...AND listen AND learn...AND perform a synthesis of
this information by only exhibiting CKCSs that are outstanding examples of
the breed!!!

We need seasoned breeders, judges, and exhibitors to take a proactive
approach by giving detailed education and specific direction for this breed.
They need to perform a continuous evaluation of "the outcome" and speak up,
if the slope becomes slippery!!!

We all know we "YANKS" may be dramatic at times, but this is may be a
worldwide issue that may become an irreversible problem, if not spearheaded
at its early stages...

Take care,
Kathy Yonkers
