Jeanie...

Thank you for being so proactive on this issue...we need more seasoned
breeder-judges to take the lead in educating other judges, handlers, and
exhibitors on the traditional presentation of our beloved CKCSs.

I do not know if the rumored (since I did not see that show or the handling)
hard stacking on the floor that occurred at the international show was
encouraged by the handler's one drop knee while free stacking at
Westminster.

I am sure that any dedicated owner and breeder of CKCSs would be upset to
observe their dogs being hard stacked and/or incorrectly presented in
accordance with the strong traditions of this breed. Traditions are a key
element of the true beauty of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and must be
protected.

This traditional free style presentation was strongly stressed through the
detailed education of new exhibitors and judges by the dedicated breeders/
exhibitors/judges who started and guided the ACKCSC

So in ending...

Please, Please Jeanie continue to speak up as a steward of this breed. You
are a respected voice in those international judging circles...the sport
needs you!!!

THANK YOU AGAIN from a "Yank" who loves this breed!!!

Take care,
Kathy Yonkers
