"I do not know if the rumored (since I did not see that show or the
handling)
hard stacking on the floor that occurred at the international show was
encouraged by the handler's one drop knee while free stacking at
Westminster"

Hi,

I can assure you it began wekk before the garden and said handler could take
lessons from Taffe on the proper presentation of a Cavalier.

As for Jeannie's question about a handler's list. I am not on one and don't
even know if there is one. Not a list i would be inclined to join anyway!

I do let those handlers who chose to kneel at the shows I atted that it is
not the proper way of presenting a Cavalier but sometimes it falls on deaf
ears. At a very recent show here the daughter of the Canadian club's past
president was on her knees topping and tailing. She and her mother were
advised that she should cut it out. Don't know if it was me or her mother
but the next day her dog was presented standing up in the traditional style
and looked much better.

Cheers,
jean
