Exactly how is a belly band used? I thought that it was to protect the belly area from getting urine on it but from reading the posts I see that it's for marking problems. Can someone please clarify for me why a belly band is used and how? My male is not urinating in the house at all it's just when he goes outside his belly gets urine on it and I thought a belly band was to keep the area clean. Forgive me for being such a novice but he's my first cavalier/toy dog. Thanks in advance.
