I once looked into this breed-MinPins-and LONG before it got to the "do they
bark" stage, I asked about 'house-breaking' and the answer was 'difficult to
housebreak". This from Breeders and pet-owners alike. I think MinPins are
just as cute and sassy as can be...I think Mini Wire Doxies are as cute and
sassy as can be! I love looking at both breeds BUT I would never have
either. They are some of the noisiest dirtiest little buggers ever
'developed', and more power to anyone who has the patience to own even one
of them without going nuts in a few short months!!

A friend of mine has a neighbor who bought a female MinPin from the local
"Pride Pups" pet shop. I told my friend that the little thing would be
running the neighborhood by the time it was 6 months old because it would be
crapping all over the owner's house and its owner wouldn't be able to stand
it! guess what? the little bugger is running all over the neighborhood
because my friend found out that it is crapping all over the house! I have
to admit I am taking special pleasure in knowing this. People who get
talked into "getting their money back" by breeding stuff like this deserve
to have all the headaches 1000-fold! Sorry, but I "leaning " towards the
"you deserve to rot in hell" attitude with regards to "de-barking" a
Cavalier. 9.95 times out of 10 it is the owners' fault in our breed. There
are in fact "idiots" in certain cases, but mostly it's an owner who hasn't
or doesn't "get it", and has too many dogs to boot.
