My first time at an AKC show (Columbus) I passed a dog that was barking, but seemed to have, I thought, laryngitis because of the funny bark. I was informed that the poor dear had been "debarked". There are many humans that I would candidates for *debarking* but it would be considered as "cruel and inhuman treatment". I am sorry, but I cannot condone this procedure.
