None whatsoever.  Quite a few of mine have one or two retained canines after
6 months of age.  I've never removed one, they have always fallen out by
themselves--some as late as 11 months of age.  No overshot or undershot
bites caused--and no crooked bites caused either.  I'm ever wary that a
crooked bite could happen, but it hasn't happened to any of mine yet.
