Laura, So, in your opinion, your pet puppies are finishable in AKC? If they are finishable, then why are you selling them as pets on restricted papers?
I don't breed often, but when I do, it is in the hopes of having something to show. Those puppies that do not measure up are placed as pets but those that do measure up are retained and shown in hopes of attaining their title. And then, if all tests are passed, they are used in my breeding program. What is your criteria for the puppies you retain for your breeding program?
