Did you get to try things like "black pudding"? the farther North you travel the "blacker" it gets! while I don't have an affinity for the stuff, I did have some a couple of times. Not bad, actually. I like smoked kippers fried tomatoes, Yorkshire pudding, but I can do without "fried bread" and bangers hace absolutely no taste at all except sage. But the fresh trout and salmon..wonderful! Desserts are exceptional...and with the "double cream". Ha! only 7 pounds you added?
