Rosemary, you'll have to try grits as prepared by a true southerner-- in a
casserole made with cheese, pork sausage, oregano, garlic, and eggs. Also,
people mistake grits for a cereal and think that they should be sweet.
Instead, this dish is really similar to a side dish starch such as mashed
potatoes and, if simply prepared, is best eaten with lashings of butter,
salt, and pepper and accompanying bacon, eggs and toast.
