I'm curious to know what a pet owner would gain from having regular membership in the club. It seems to me that pet owners would have little interest in who judges the specialties and also not have the experience or knowledge (and perhaps, not the interest) in guarding the standard as it is or seeking changes. Other than these two things, there is nothing a regular membership would offer that is not offered by an associate membership.
