The reason that I pay dues every year is to be able to vote on the standard if this comes up again. That's it. I don't mind getting the quarterly and the yearbook is lovely, but neither would induce me to pay dues. For me, it's the vote. Truthfully, there isn't enough incentive for a pet owner. Their needs are catered to in the smaller, local affiliate clubs. That is where you find the social activities and most of the aspects that would be fun for pet owners. Many of the local clubs are great fun and a place to make lots of friends. All the best, Susan Cochran
