I think this is a wonderful idea, especially on the health testing. But the only problem with having to show both parents is that would leave out some dogs that are great breeding quality but might have some slight perfection that makes them not as show worthy. Many wonderful cavaliers, that were never shown, went on to produce some of the most famous champions in history. Also it may promote the showing of more mediocre cavaliers, by some breeders, just so they can get those few points to qualify as a member.
