I appreciate your post Carol. I hope that I don't give the impression that I know more than the pet owners or am "better" in some way than they are. It has been through my friendships with Winnie, Barb Cooke and Rod Russell (yes, we have argued, but I have listened and learned from Rod) that I have come to value the pet owner. I realize that if one of my dogs doesn't pass an important health test, I may well place it in a pet home. It is that pet owner who will stay with my dog until the day it dies. I hope that I don't give the impression that I know more than anyone. I am struggling on a daily basis to learn how best to serve the breed. Myra
