Hi, Carol,
        Not only do I not "look down on" you, I think you are a very astute
contributing member to this list.  I welcome your input and listen
carefully to what you say.

I am heartened to FIND pet owners who really want to learn all about
their dogs.  And, in many areas you have much more experience than have
I.

I admit I have not had to deal with dogs who are sick with MVD.  I know
it will happen to me in this breed, but it hasn't yet.............and
when it does I'll be looking to many pet owners who have dealt with it
for their input on treatment efficacy.

So, please know that I consider you a valuable contributor to any issue
we discuss.
