I'm not disagreeing that the pet owner should have a voice. However, since the question of being able to breed to AKC only dogs and registering those litters is a breeder issue, how exactly does it affect the pet owner? It seems to me that the AKC question is a breeder issue that is being decided by pet owners. If there is a nice looking, fully tested AKC only boy whose pedigree works well with my fully tested bitch and her pedigree......why should a pet owner be able to tell me that I shouldn't be contracting the stud services of that nice boy? Please tell me. I am an open minded person. Please help me to understand how a person who owns a single, pet quality cavalier should have any voice in who I use for stud services on my girls? Myra
