Myra, I applaude you for doing a prelim early and for a very sound reason.
Why bother to run on a dog that is not hip healthy. But may I ask, as I am
getting ready to do my own puppies prelims, if you want early info on this
disease why did you choose to go with OFA rather than PennHip which, I
understand, is supposed to give more accurate readings on youngers? I have
always waited until my dogs were 2 years old then OFAed them. I have no
experience with PennHip. But I am alawys looking for better methods. Thanks
for your input.
