Susan... My understanding is the one view of PennHip is the standard VD view which is the same as OFA. Infact they could increase the KVP and expose two films of the view at the same time, so I could send one to OFA as a prelim. The other two views are measuring laxity at different extended positions. PennHip used a positioning device and I believe computer supported analysis. I believe that PennHip feels that their predictive value is the same for the life of the dog...so it can be completed at a young age. I think both are interesting.
