Yikes......we certainly do not get that much for a puppy up in my neck of the woods. I guess it is up to the buyer ....."buyer beware", ......there are many breeders that I know personally here in New England, alone that sell their puppies for under 2000.00 (myself being one of them...grin), that are responsible, ethical breeders. I guess it is the same anywhere....there are some that are bold enough to ask for outrageous prices and get them and the rest of us who try to be realistic :)
