Are they seeking a second opinion? It's horrible that this puppy is in so
much pain. Since the puppy was fine before his teeth were pulled, and now
there's something wrong with his jaw, it seems logical that the vet did
something to cause this when pulling his teeth.

Subject: [CKCS-L] thanks

I would like to sincerely THANK everyone who responded to my request for
information regarding the puppy with the "locked jaw." The vet has come to
the conclusion that it may be either auto-immune or something caused during
extraction. These poor people are beside themselves and the puppy is in a
great deal of pain today. It is hard being a third party and not being able
to talk to the vet myself. My approach would be a little more demanding I am
afraid. I will keep the list updated and pass all of the information
along. The breeder of the puppy is fully aware of the situation and is
offering complete support.

Thanks
Jan Rinker
