David: I believe Jean is accurate with the Bee Pollen. I am a beekeeper also, and would have suggested you find a 'local' beekeeper that can supply you with uncooked, unfiltered honey that has been harvested near your home environment. A tablespoon a day will cure the situation -IF- it is a local allergy. If it is too sticky, disolve it in cool/cold water. The Bee Pollen will give enough nutrition and energy that your setter would be able to ward off the symptoms. Bee Pollen is extreamly healthy for animals as well as humans. However, unless the pollen was harvested locally, or coincidently has the same thing included that affects your girl, it will not 'cure' the Allergy, just give strength and energy. You might also visit the local Health Food Store, and pick up some Rescue Remedy and give a few drops each day in her water. This should help if it is bacterial or dust.
