Hi, List,
I have a wonderful home for a puppy but have a bit of a dilemma. The
people own a macaw. As I have owned birds before, I'm aware that they
can easily harm other small animals. While the prospective pet buyers
have assured me that they will separate the puppy/dog from the macaw at
all times, I'm wondering if any of you have happily placed animals in
such situations?
I know that there are breeders with large birds and as I mentioned I
used to have them myself. I'm wondering about placing a pup with people
who have not had experience with small dogs but have a large bird.
