Their septic system is fine, Cathy.  I know that there are some people
who are very knowledgeable about birds and dogs and in that situation I
wouldn't worry too very much.  This is one macaw kept in a greenhouse
setting.  I am concerned more that their child (eleven years old) might
see no harm in trying to get them to play together.  The beak of a macaw
is pretty strong...you know?
