I honestly don't think that Glenn probably has to worry about tampon
disposal. However, since you refer to that incident, I'll take the time
to warn new folks on the list about how this happened.
Our first Cavalier was with me night and day. While we kept all
non-paper trash where she couldn't get at it, the bathroom trash was
kept on the bathroom floor behind closed doors. There came a day that I
walked into the bathroom and out without closing the door as I was going
right back in.........and before I could stop her, Blythe dived into the
wastebasket and snarfed up tampon.
Fortunately, I was there, and was able to get immediate attention for
her which did include surgery to remove the tampon. We now have
considered patenting the "wallbasket" so that dogs cannot get into such
trash. <G>
It IS something of which to be careful.
