Geri - Oh, I'd never think that any dog (unless it's mentally unhinged) would
not have an engaging personality. And I know that every breed has their
advocates, which is an excellent thing. It just seems to me that the Pekes
are the ones that are always (or at least more than others) being picked by
judges in group shows...along with Bichons and Poodles.
I'm personally not attracted to a lot of breeds (including poodles and
Bichons) but I can see why a judge might be enticed by them. Personality
aside, it's the Pekes that are waddling along, with a hairy body that no one
can see the mechanics of, that I don't see how they can "grab" a judge and
say LOOK at ME!
