I agree 100% - I'm very slow to go to new things...all my friends were into Ivermectin
years before I finally decided to try it. My old vet used to give me containers of it
to use...I haven't asked my new vet for any yet, because I'm still using the
stuff the other fellow gave me. One of these days, tho........
Ivermectin supposedly also gets rid of rabbit fur mites and ear mites, all those
little disgusting things.......... yikes!
Susan - liquid ivermectin is available at most feed stores...or your vet can give
you some. It is injectable for cattle, but given orally to dogs and the dose is quite
small...also it is difficult to give a dangerous amount, except to baby baby
puppies. Ask next time. Be aware that some vets are reluctant to send their clients
home with a supply sufficient to do an entire kennel full (or house full) of
dogs...that will depend on your relationship with the vet.
