Dr. Mary Wakeman whose article on "Lyme Disease, pregnancy, and monthly heartworm" appears on the page of the link, is the Vet who spoke to our local all-breed kennel club about hip x-rays over 10 years ago. Her point at that time, regarding the diagnosis of Hip Displasia, was that diagnosis should be based on actual bone changes and not on joint laxity alone. I think she made a great deal of sense at that time regarding those statements, and I still agree with them.
