Sorry, Peggy, I missed that. It is so novel for a vet to "give" anything that your meaning flew right past me, LOL.
My vets have gone from charging one office visit for health exams of a whole litter to an office visit charge per each puppy in the litter. And buying medications from them is infuriating when I know how much they pay for it! Unbelievable markup. Not a thing I can do. The vets here seem to have a price fixing agreement. I did hear one thing from a local vet that I just can't believe. He said that he gives a breeder price on puppy vaccines and mentioned that the vaccines the pet supply places sell are ones that were sent back to the manufacturer by vet because they arrived hot. I find it difficult to believe that this is true. Has anyone else heard it? Or is he just trying to get me to buy his vaccines which he says come straight from the manufacturer.
