Lynn, let me tell you the breeder's side of this story. Yes, my contract also states that the puppy (dog) is to be returned if it develops a hereditary problems. Let's say that I get a phone call telling me 'fido' has luxating patelleas in both knees and the owner wants a refund to do the surgery or they want a replacement. I ask for written proof that this problem exists but the owner just doesn't get around to supplying me with the paperwork. I will insist on the return of the dog so it can be checked out and treated. If the pet owner works with me and honestly sends me copies of test results, I would never insist on the return of the dog but the clause is in my contract for the protection of the dog. -- Brigitte Falch Kibergo Cavaliers Reg'd Maple Ridge, BC, Canada [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://alescosys.com/kibergo For the life of your dog - FASTRACK - now available in Canada ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
