It doesn't bother me at all if one of their first questions is about price.
I treat it as just another question and it is one that should be answered!
It can be quite a shock to a buyer who has found all their pets on the
street or purchased each pet through the newspaper to find out how much a
well bred purebred is! I've had people *in shock* say they can't afford a
Cavalier, hang up fairly quickly and then call back a year later and say
they decided they had to have one anyway, saved up the money and can now
afford one. I have set prices for pets so I can readily quote my price.
