I would NOT give the Rimadyl. Pain will help keep him from using the leg so
it will heal faster. Without the pain, he may start running around, causing
more damage. Soft tissue damage can take a very long time to heal - I speak
from experience. Also, Rimadyl can cause liver damage. I use holistic
methods for healing, homeopathics, acupuncture, etc. I have found that
acupuncture has excellent results for healing injuries, again from personal
experience for myself and my dogs.
