I doubt that the area makes any difference.  I have given it to a dog who
sprained his leg chasing birds.  I give it to my old boy who is getting a little
arthritic in the rear and I take it for the arthritis in my hands.  I have tried
different combinations but have found the capsules that contain
glucosamine/chondroitin AND MSM to give the most relief.
