I don't think we disagree at all.  There is no doubt you can't just warranty
the entire dog for everything like you would a car or lawnmower.  My Pet
Contract spells out exactly what is warrantied against and what the owner
needs to do and how it will be handled.  I must be contacted before anything
is done and I must receive paperwork *proving* what happened (such as a
necropsy report) or needs to be done (such as evaluation and suggestion for
surgery).   I never ask to return the dog--no one would be willing to do so.
I have found everyone to be fair and have never been asked to do anything
unreasonable.  I've only had to refund part or all money a few times in all
these years.  I'm sure at some point someone will be unreasonable, but if it
only happens a couple of times in 50 years--that is acceptable to me.
