Thanks Deborah - am thrilled to hear there is another cardiologist who can scribe pimobendan. My understanding is that it is only being used for dogs in CHF - the drug I heard that was recommended for dogs not in CHF is Carvedilol. So far (knocking LOUDLY on wood :o) mine have been doing great on pimobendan since the first of January. They have been monitored very closely for blood levels by the cardiologist and my regular vet. Dr Gordon will be doing ausculatation at our Dallas area Fun Match on Oct 19 - so anyone wanting direct information can sure pick her brain at that time :o) Barb Hoorman Benchmark Cavaliers - TX ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
