Thanks Deborah - am thrilled to hear there is another cardiologist who can
scribe pimobendan. My understanding is that it is only being used for dogs in
CHF - the drug I heard that was recommended for dogs not in CHF is Carvedilol.

So far (knocking LOUDLY on wood :o) mine have been doing great on pimobendan
since the first of January. They have been monitored very closely for blood
levels by the cardiologist and my regular vet. Dr Gordon will be doing
ausculatation at our Dallas area Fun Match on Oct 19 - so anyone wanting
direct information can sure pick her brain at that time  :o)
