Pamela- Thank you for your response. This particular little girl is only ten months old, and she was murmur-free at the health clinic held in Doylestown, PA in April. From the other responses that have been sent, I am more than convinced that this episode may be related to the flea collar. I have read several articles on the Internet pointing to adverse neurological effects caused by the organophosphates in these collars. I have forwarded these articles to the owner, and I have left a message on her machine encouraging her to call her local poison control center, or any number she may find on the collar packaging. I hope the effects are temporary and reversible.
