Hi, I waited for a long time after I got married to get our first dog. My oldest son was afraid of dogs and had allergies, so I never pushed the idea. Then, I discovered a cute, shaggy little breed called a "Havanese", supposedly "hypoallergenic", and found a very special little guy, we call "Bubba". My son, who was ten at the time, had no allergic reaction to Bubba, and it was love at first sight for both of them. He's just a bouncy, funny, smart, little character, and we all adore him. Suddenly, I was hooked on dogs, started taking classes at my kennel club, went to dog shows, and read dog books instead of my usual mystery novels. It was at a dog show, I saw my first Cavalier, and I just fell in love with those sweet faces and wagging tails. "Lacey", our Blenheim girl, is just an angel, and I can't ever imagine living without a Cavalier now. She sleeps beside me every night and is just sooo sweet, hardly barks, never growls, and is a constant joy! She truly has no "faults"! I hope to add more Cavaliers to our household, just a few more... I just can't stop at one! Nice to meet everyone! Betzie
