Kelly, I can't speak for all 600+ members of the L list, but I'm sure beyond any doubt that I am speaking for a good many of us. Breeding these lovely dogs should not be done to support a college education or for any other financial reason. Breeding these dogs shouldn't be done because you love cavaliers. Breeding should be done in order to improve the breed. Improve the health, improve the structure; improve on the dogs. Breed dogs that are carefully chosen for their health history, soundness and temperaments so that in ten years cavaliers will be a healthier breed, a prettier breed, a more structurally sound breed....an improved breed because of the people who plan each breeding carefully. Very few of us will have a lot of patience or kindness in our hearts for people who breed them commercially to make money. I'm sorry if I appear to be rude, but to think that some little cavalier girl is being bred to put one of your kids through school is really icky to me. Incidentally, it doesn't take very long to get your dogs tested; one day should do it...doesn't take a team nor a university. Myra
