Thanks Gerri Of course those that know me, know I am the first to try and help newbies in the breed, especially those that have stared off with the wrong ideas or substandard cavaliers, believing they have wonderful show dogs. BUT I do not appreciate and certainly can't condone the way Kelly has amassed her little flock of 'battery hen' Cavaliers and thank my lucky stars that the warning bells rang and none of my cavaliers ended up with the in South Dakota.

However, not everybody on this list lied to breeders by sending emails along with a sweet picture of their themselves and young daughters attached and stated they were seeking a Cavalier as a cherished family pet when, in fact, they were amassing Cavaliers to add to an already large breeding program that included several other breeds. Making mistakes along the way and blatantly lying to achieve your goal are two completely different things. IMHO if you have to be deceitful to obtain something then either (A) you know what you are doing is wrong or (B) you know that if your true intentions are known then no one will give you what you want. That's not making a mistake that requires understanding and compassion. It's a blantant act that screams for condemnation.
