Not sure what other areas have on the books, but here in Virginia it is STATE LAW that, if an animal (dog /cat) dies within 10 days (NOT 48 hours!) the buyer has the right to a full refund from the seller / breeder - not just a replacement puppy - but a $$ refund - Be careful with your contracts!
